This website (www.invictatrichology.co.uk) has been developed solely for educating individuals and to allow them the opportunity to contact a qualified trichologist and book a consultation for any hair or scalp concerns they may have.
By using this website or booking a consultation with Invicta Trichology, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
About Invicta Trichology
Invicta Trichology is a sole trader business providing trichology consultation services, including assessment, diagnosis, support, and advice for hair and scalp conditions, plus the opportunity for referrals and signposting to specialists where necessary.
Invicta Trichology does not provide medical treatment, prescribe medication, or guarantee treatment outcomes.
Trichology as a whole is not currently recognised as an NHS service, and therefore operates as a private healthcare specialist. The good news is that anyone can book an appointment without the need for a GP referral, and can arguably be seen more quickly than on the NHS, but fees will of course apply.
Consultations
Consultations are provided in person only at:

Consultations are intended to provide professional assessment, discussion, and referral guidance relating to hair and scalp concerns. Consultations can be requested through email, telephone, or by filling in the contact form on the website.
We may need to conduct an initial assessment before offering an appointment date, to ensure that we are able to help you with your concern; this will be no more in-depth than a brief discussion or a short email exchange, if we feel we require more information than was provided at the time of the original request.
You may be asked to complete a medical questionnaire ahead of your consultation, which will eliminate some of the more tedious administrative data on the day of your appointment, leaving more time open for discussion and questions. This will be sent as a link to your preferred method of contact.
Appointments and Payments
Payment is required in full in advance of your consultation, unless otherwise agreed. If you have not paid in full by the start time of your appointment, Invicta Trichology reserves the right to dismiss you and not proceed with the appointment. Further details of payment will be outlined to you in your appointment confirmation letter, which you will receive once all the relevant forms have been completed.
Consultation fees are non-refundable less than 24 hours before the start time of your confirmed appointment. Please see Cancellation Policy below for more details on suitable refund periods.
Pricing may change at any time and without prior notice.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests. This is also outlined in your appointment confirmation letter.
If you wish to cancel your appointment, with more than 24 hours’ notice, your appointment fee will be refunded in full. You will need to provide your bank details in order for the refund to be processed.
If you have already paid for your appointment and would like to move your appointment to an alternative date, you may do so free of charge as long as you have provided more than 24 hours’ notice. Your existing payment will be retained and transferred to your new appointment date.
Invicta Trichology reserves the right to refuse repeated late cancellations or non-attendance bookings.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, Invicta Trichology reserves the right to:
- Reduce the available consultation time, or
- Reschedule the appointment at its discretion
This is to minimise disruption to other appointments.
Minors
Invicta Trichology is currently unable to provide consultation for minors. If you are a parent or legal guardian who has any concerns for a child experiencing hair or scalp issues, please feel free to get in touch and I may be able to refer you straight to a third-party specialist.
Medical Disclaimer
Information provided during consultations or on this website is intended for educational and informational purposes only, and should not replace medical advice from a GP, dermatologist, or other medically qualified healthcare professionals. Whilst trichologists are qualified to specialise in the hair and scalp, and remain well-informed in other aspects of healthcare, they are not medically qualified.
If urgent medical concerns are present, you should seek appropriate medical attention promptly.
Referrals
Invicta Trichology may recommend referrals to external specialists or practitioners where appropriate. Please note, fees for the services offered to you by third-party specialists are not covered by Invicta Trichology and are payable in full directly to the third-party. NHS referrals are a cheaper, alternative option, but this could vastly lengthen the response time you may experience and efficiency can be integral to the more time-sensitive hair and scalp conditions.
Invicta Trichology is not responsible for the services, treatments, advice, or outcomes provided by third-party professionals.
Website Use
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure information on this website is accurate and up to date, Invicta Trichology makes no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted website availability.
Website content may be updated or removed without notice.
