Hair Loss and Scalp Consultation
in East Malling, Kent
Welcome To Invicta Trichology
Invicta Trichology is a specialist trichology clinic in East Malling, Kent, providing expert diagnosis of hair loss and scalp conditions.
I’m Demi, a fully qualified Trichologist (AIT, Institute of Trichologists), offering dedicated hair and scalp consultations for patients experiencing concerns such as hair thinning, excessive shedding, patchy hair loss, dandruff, psoriasis, itching (pruritus), and inflammation.
Hair and scalp conditions are often overlooked or misunderstood, leaving many people without clear answers. At Invicta Trichology, the focus is on accurate diagnosis, clear explanations, and trusted referrals where needed. I can help you understand the cause, progression, and next steps with confidence.

Based in East Malling Enterprise Centre, the clinic serves East Malling, West Malling, and the wider Kent area, offering a professional, discreet space where your concerns are taken seriously and handled with care.
The name Invicta, meaning unconquered, reflects both Kent’s heritage and the resilience many patients need when facing hair loss or ongoing scalp conditions. These concerns can affect more than appearance; they often impact confidence, identity, and overall wellbeing. You will be listened to, understood, and guided with the time and attention your situation deserves.
If you are noticing changes in your hair density, scalp health, or shedding patterns, booking a consultation is the first step towards clarity and informed action.
Begin Your Personal Hair & Scalp Analysis
A consultation is an in-person, private meeting at my clinic in East Malling, and typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. The two of us will discuss what hair/scalp issues you are experiencing, identify the cause(s), and confirm a diagnosis. This will involve a physical examination of the hair and scalp, and a series of questions regarding your general health, medical history, family history, and hair history.
You may be referred to another professional if your concern requires specific treatment, but this will be discussed with you and confirmed in writing following your consultation.

My Hair Loss Journey
I was only 12 when my hair first started to fall out; starting a new school, hitting puberty, navigating school bullies, and enduring my parents’ divorce seemingly proved too big of a burden to bear. It started with one large bald patch at the crown of my head, before other patches began and started to coalesce. A visit to a Trichologist was suggested to me by my hairdresser, and soon I was given the diagnosis of Alopecia Areata – an autoimmune, patchy hair loss condition which seemed to, in my case, be triggered by stress.
As a teenage girl, image means everything. There were times on my journey where I refused to leave the house without my hood up, and a short span of my younger life seems to be missing from all of the family photo albums because, at that time, the camera posed a threat.
Thanks to my experience I have honed the ability to withstand the toughest of knocks to my self-image, which is the sort of resilience I want to build within my patients.

“It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.”
